ABOUT AMY

Hi! My name is Amy, and I am so grateful that you are interested in selecting me as your stylist.

 

To give a little background: I began my cosmetology journey in 2005, learning the foundations of haircutting and coloring. After graduating in 2006, I worked in a salon for a short amount of time before taking time away to raise my four kiddos, serving clients from home. About 8 years ago, I returned to the salon and dove into mastering balayage and lived-in color, developing a passion for creating natural, low-maintenance looks.

Since then, I’ve had the privilege of traveling across the U.S., attending workshops, events, and one-on-one trainings with nationally recognized artists, and I regularly take online courses to continue growing and stay on top of trends. My focus on balayage and lived-in color allows me to give my clients beautiful, effortless hair that works with their lifestyle. Along the way, I’ve been honored with 6 Behind the Chair #ONESHOT Award nominations, 2 Top Five MOB nominations, and being named one of Modern Salon’s Top 100. I’m also proud to be part of the Modern Salon Artist Connective and the Wella Passionista Team.

In 2018, I took my passion for learning into the realm of education, first training with Salt Society and then teaching independent classes across the U.S.—a rewarding way to share what I’ve learned with others.

Although these milestones are special to me, my biggest joy is helping people feel as beautiful as they truly are with hair that suits their everyday life.
